A soaring Midtown office designed to honor a mission driven foundation, its namesake, and its founders.
About the midtown office Project
Rooted in a belief that space can embody and advance a mission, this project reimagined the foundation’s workplace as a more open, connected, and inspiring environment. Completed in phases to accommodate workflow, the transformation began with a reworking of the footprint, including the conversion of the founder’s private office into a welcoming gathering space that honors the organization’s work and encourages collaboration. New glass-front offices and a dedicated media lounge brought flexibility, transparency, and renewed purpose to the workplace.
Throughout the process, every design decision was guided by the foundation’s values. Grounding materials, warm textures, and a thoughtfully expanded art collection created a sense of freedom and meaning, while subtle references to the mission were woven into the space at every turn. The result is a workplace that not only supports the day-to-day needs of the team but also serves as a physical reflection of the impact they strive to make.
